On monday, 14.4.2008 Tide we'll appear as guests on TV Paprika (10:25 am ) and Carli TV (5:00 pm) to present their latest video »The Urge«. The new video portrays the band in a more spontaneous, lively, direct and down to earth way compared to the previous videos and it has been directed by Tomi Horvat from AVK Krsko. There has been much less postproduction work on the new video also due to the fact that the director borrowed a film which has been shot by the band during the making of their latets CD ''Nothing to Lose'' in the Netherlands. The rest has been shot by a team from Krsko at the promotional concert which took place on the 24th of january in Ljubljana's Cvetlicarna Mediapark this year. Drop by to tell us what you think.

From today, 10.12.07 the new album »Nothing to Lose« (CPZ Rec.) is on sale in record stores. »Nothing to Lose« contains 11 new songs, among them the MC5 rock classic »Kick Out The Jams«.It's an album that will definitely surprise you since it is very different from its predecessor, way more melodic, mature and accomplished. This is what the band said about the album: »Our sole purpose was to write good songs that could stand the test of time, without following a particular trend or fashion, we focused on the quality, melody and distinctiveness of the songs. On our new, second album »Nothing To Lose« (CPZ Rec.) we'll present 11 new songs, which were recorded throughout the summer in the Netherlands. More about that in the studio report. 17.08.07 // TIDE chosen on NEW SOUNDS OF EUROPE!
Nominated bands for NEW SOUNDS OF EUROPE from the MTV ADRIA region are DANI (Macedonia), TIDE (Slovenia), INTRUDER (Serbia), FATHER (croatia), DUBIOZA KOLEKTIV (Bosnia and Herzegovina) in ELEMENTAL (Croatia). The winner will be picked by the people since sms voting will be enabled. (details on: www.mtvadria.com/nsoe or: www.sonyericsson.com/mtvema).
Voting will be possible from 24. august until 23. september, the winner of our region will be announced at a big concert event in Zagreb on the 29. of september.
MTV Networks International and the leading world manufacturer of mobile telephones Sony Ericsson announced their collaboration for the European music awards ( EMA ) project in the beginning of june. Their collaboration will include 18 european markets, including those of the adriatic region and will be introducing a whole new category called– 'New Sounds of Europe'. MTV viewers and users of Sony Ericsson products will be introduced to the new sounds of Europe through the closely interweaved worlds of classic television, computers, mobile phones and the internet.
What is awaiting the winner? First, a battle with 17 more winners from other european regions, where there the battling for the 'New Sounds of Europe' will rage from 24. september till 13. october. From the 14. october until 28. october it will come to the last eliminatory rounds, when each day a winner from a specific region will be eliminated until there will be only 3 left. The best 3 bands will be competing for a glamorous prize – all three bands will travel to Munich, where this years EMA awards ceremony will be taking place on the 1. november. The winner (also chosen through voting) will be crowned with the title winner of the 'New Sounds of Europe' category and at the same time with the honour to close the spectacular event with a live performance.
This means performing in front of thousands of people in Munich's OlympiaHalle and more than a billion MTV viewers worldwide!

17.05.07 // IRON MAIDEN chose TIDE as support band
IRON MAIDEN chose Tide as support band for their stadium concert in Slovenia. The concert will be held at the Central stadium Bežigrad (june, 2. 2007).
TIDE will hit the stage at 8 pm, right before Iron Maiden and after the performance of Lauren Harris, who will accompany the heavy metal giants on their whole summer tour. TIDE are currently working on the material for their next record, which should be recorded over the summer. Some new songs will be performed also at this occasion, their biggest concert to date..Tide's performance will last 40 minutes and the boys will try and make the best out of it. For this occasion they gave out a statement for the Slovenian press: »Its a great honor to be able to play with Iron Maidem, heroes to almost every guitar band on the planet. This is going to be our biggest concert to date and we will give it our best, as always. We'd like to thank Iron Maiden for this opportunity and we look forward to having a good time in a true rock fashion».

Four new concert dates were confirmed today. A new band called Mosaic (www.myspace.com/mosaicspace) will open up for Tide on all four gigs, our friends Leaf-fat (www.leaf-fat.com or www.myspace.com/leaffat) will join the caravan in Nova Gorica and Maribor. We'll be playing on: 07.03.07 (wed) Ljubljana/ Orto klub, 17.03.07 (sat) Izola/ Shoto klub, 23.03.07 (fri) Nova Gorica/ Mostovna and 29.03.07 (thur) Maribor/ Štuk. The party is guaranteed, rock n roll style, we expect you to come in large numbers. We hope to hear from you on our forum.
28.10.06 // Tide ready with new video clip for »Brain Damage«
Once again in collaboration with the AVK team we finished shooting our third videoclip for the song Brain Damage on the 24.9.2006 in Krsko. The filming of this clip was not planned from the beginning but since Miloš Radosavljevič had some really good and useful ideas, we decided, that the third single will be the explosive bonus track from our Seven Days album, »Brain Damage«.
The clip is currently being mounted in post production, we expect it to come out in the beginning of november! To show you that you can once again look forward to a high quality and esthetically »incendiary« video, you can check out our latest pictures in the photo gallery (click here).

This year Tide will be performing at some of the most important summer festivals. After Njoki festival (www.njokifestival.com) and Lent festival (http://lent.slovenija.net) a show at the biggest ex YU festival, Exit (www.exitfest.org) just got confirmed. We will perform on 6.7. (thursday) on the Fusion stage. On the same stage this year also Dog Eat Dog, Junkie XL, Sofa Surfers, Darkwood Dub, Eyesburn, Massimo and others. Our debut album called »Seven Days« (CPZ/ Nika Rec 2005) was released on 22th September 2005. You can find it in music shops in Slovenia or you can order it directly on-line at www.bof.si. The songs were recorded in Cruise Control Studios in Amsterdam, Holland. If you want to know more about it please read more info.
21.09.05 // »Release My Gun« is our first video
The shooting of »Release My Gun« took place on Saturday, 17.9. 2005 in the abandoned legendary Viba film Studios - Piran. Direction and screenplay of the video was handled by Miloš Radosavljevič and Tomi Horvat from AVK (institution for audiovisual confection ). The rest of the team who accompanied us and participated on this long and tiring 24 hours video shoot was: Luka Kaše (director of photography), Kaja Kržan (mask), Neli Štrukelj (stylist), Danilo Ivanuša (actor), Nada Mihajlovič (actress) and others without whom the making of this video would not have been possible. The responsible for all the »behind the scenes« filming about the making of the video was our French guest Olivier Le Roy. The premiere of the video will take place sometime in mid October.
